Select the File menu (CLIP STUDIO PAINT menu Pen pressure settings for macOS/iPad) and display the Pen Pressure Settings dialog box. Using a pen, draw on the canvas with varying pressure. Clicking Check adjusted results will display the Check adjusted results dialog box, and allow you to draw on the canvas with the adjusted results. Your Brush Settings in SAI. Sometimes something has happened and boom, your pen sensitivity. So, I have a 2012 macbook pro and a wacom intuos 5 tablet. I want to be able to use paint tool sai but it doesn't have pen pressure, which is disappointing. I've been using an alternative app for now, but I really want to get pen pressure in sai without having to download a bunch of torrents.
Let’s be clear, Easy Paint Tool SAI is unique software.
Digital arts students use computers and other peripherals such as tablets to create art. They sometimes additionally work in digital photography, animation, electronic sound and music, graphic design, and other digital or interactive media. Popular programs such as Adobe® Photoshop® or Systemax Paint Tool SAI are often utilized together to allow artists to maximize their creativity.
However, the downside to Paint Tool SAI is that it can only be run on Microsoft Windows®, thus forcing Mac® users to find alternative solutions. Meet Tyler Pavia, a student and artist who expertly wields his Artist 22E graphic tablet made by XP-Pen, but wanted to run it on his Mac.
“I first just ran Windows 10 in Boot Camp®, but it was a pain having to restart the computer each time. Also, for some reason, my graphic tablet wouldn’t work with Boot Camp. After I did some research, I found recommendations for Parallels Desktop® for Mac for artists with Mac because it is compatible with (most) external graphic tablets. My external tablet is a 22-inch on-screen graphic tablet that runs perfectly through your program, and it is the only virtualization product that I have found that accepts my tablet’s pressure levels while drawing.”

Tyler is now one of the many users we see who utilize to run Windows-based programs such as Paint Tool SAI on their Mac. PaintTool SAI is high-quality and lightweight painting software; with fully digitized support, amazing anti-aliased paintings, and easy and stable operation, it makes digital art creation more enjoyable and comfortable.
“Thank you for making a program that saves me money as a student because I no longer have to buy a new computer.”- Tyler

Binary Eraser Tutorial
I am going to teach you how to make an eraser for that deliciously pixelated Binary tool in Paint Tool Sai!
Firstly, scroll down and find your Binary tool. Now you are going to need to set your pen up for pressure sensitivity and what-have-you so let me explain what all this junk is. ( If you know how to set your pens up then skip this. )
Size - This slider lets you pick what size of brush you want or you can just pick from the preset down below.
Min Size - This is the minimum brush size, used when pressure sensitivity is on.
Opacity - This determines the degree of transparency. The higher the more solid.
Advanced Settings - Make sure you tick this so you can get at the rest of your settings.
Hard <-> Soft - This is your pressure sensitivity. The lower the number the harder you will have to press down for thicker lines. The higher it is the lighter you will have to draw for thinner lines.
Size - Tick this to turn pressure sensitivity on.
Now onto making a Binary Eraser, right click on your Binary tool and click duplicate.
Scroll down and find the duplicate, it should be titled ‘BinaryPen’ Right click on that and select Options.
Change the name to Binary Eraser so you know what it is and set a shortcut. You can also set the tool’s own stroke smoothing and pressure smoothing levels here.
Stroke Stabilizer - This stabilizes each stroke making them very smooth. This is very handy when inking long lines especially for those with shaky hands. If you use this know that it is normal for the lines to drag a bit after the cursor.
Paint Tool Sai For Mac With Pen Pressure Switch
Pressure Stabilizer - This stabilizes the pen pressure making for smoother transitioning between the many different brush sizes as you draw.Lastly in your Binary Eraser tool settings drag the Opacity slider to 0 and now you’re done! Have fun erasing. 0u0
